Jaxson Hayes will have do 450 hours of community service as part of sentence for two misdemeanor charges from last year.
The sentence also includes 52 weeks of domestic violence classes and three years of probation.
The 22-year-old Pelicans center had police called on him and even got tased as he resisted arrest.
